DIY Pallet Gate Kit

Here in a kit with absolutely everything you'll need to make your own pallet gate. It includes: 6 heavy-duty casters, 4 double-hinges, 2 handles with screws, 50 large screws, 8 small screws, 60 washers, and 450 nails. You'll receive burlap to create 9 pockets in which to plant succulents or any other plants of your choosing. You'll also receive a complete set of instructions on how to build your own gate.

These materials will create a tri-fold pallet gate. All you need do is provide your own tools (hammer, drill, pliers ,and staple gun (optional). And, of course, you'll need to find three pallets!

The materials used to create this gate can add up. We've included them here at a very small mark-up, which pays for the time and labor of gathering, packaging, product testing, and design. Once paid, you've got everything you need for a very inexpensive, movable, foldable, unique living pallet gate.

Kit Measures: 22" long x 13" wide x 4.5" tall

Finished Gate Measures: 37" tall x 45" wide per pallet section;
Three-pallet long gate (as shown) is 135" when fully extended (or 11 feet, 3 inches)

Standing Root Coat Rack

We adapted a traditional bentwood standing coat rack and a beautiful tree root for hanging coats and bags.  The bottom of the the rack has been white washed using a matte paint and then waxed and the circular sections will hold folded umbrellas. This is a easy space-saving way to hang things when there isn't closet space.

Measures: 69" tall x 26" wide (at widest part of root)
Base is 15.5" square; 2 hoops are 11.5" diameter

Painted Old School Desk

This is a solid wood old-school desk made for the junior variety of person, although it will easily accommodate a small adult.  We painted the desk with a matte olive paint and waxed it with dark wax.  It has small platform on which to write and books can be stored in the under section.  A great piece for a child's bedroom or place for kids to work in the home office.

Measurements: 32" tall x 22" wide x 24" deep
Seat is at 17" high; 17.75" wide x 16.25" deep
Desk top is at 27.75" high; 12.5" wide x 24" deep
Shelf is made of 4 slats at 6.5" high; 16" wide x 10" deep

Three Arm Candelabra

We saved this gorgeous sweeping arm metal candelabra from a bedazzled death.  When we found it, it was covered in plastic jewels and all manner of unnecessary ornamentation.  The junk got stripped and the candelabra was cleaned and painted with silver paint to restore it to its simple beauty.

Three arms hold three taper candles.

Wall Pockets

We made these wall pockets with ticking stripe fabric which has some give, thus the pockets have a bit of slack to hold bulkier items while still keeping them firmly in place.

When you've run out of horizontal storage space, these wall pockets can be hung vertically to store all  manner of things:  keys, glasses, sunglasses, mail, office supplies.  The big one will even hold a magazine or two.  The wall pockets can be the designated spot for things you can't afford to loose or things that tend to clutter up a horizontal work space.  Simply hang with a nail on the wall.
