We've made these pallets into a functional free-standing gate, meaning that it does not have to be secured to a post, fence or wall, to section off your yard. The pallets are secured together with heavy-duty hinges and glide on locking industrial-style swivel casters. The gate hinges are attached so that the entire piece folds up accordion style, which allows it to adjust in width. It takes only one person to fold up and easily move the gate. We've included steel handles to help with that process.
We filled the spaces between some of the horizontal boards with burlap and soil to plant a succulent garden, but think it would be just as nice planted with herbs, annuals or even lettuce.
We can custom make these gates to order, adding additional pallets to extend the length. We'll even paint or stain it according to your wishes. Please contact us for further info.
