Red Metal Tool Box

We have another vintage toolbox to add to our collection.  This one is a fun tomato red and is covered with a few graphic stickers.  The latch, hinges, and handle are in great condition.

Think beyond the intended use for this toolbox.  We can see this toolbox in a vintage inspired boy's room. Screw directly into the wall as a great shelf or small space bedside table.

But it doesn't have to go into a boy's room.  The fun red would be equally at home in a cottage as it would in an industrial style loft.  Store toiletries, sewing items, art supplies, remotes...the possibilities are endless with this great multi-use box.

Chalkboard School Set--CHALKBOARD SOLD

We've upcycled this plain Jane magazine file, bookends, and picture frame with some good ol' fashioned paint and some scrap wood.  The magazine file is made of wood, but has been painted with chalkboard paint.  The metal bookends got a coat of fun, glossy yellow paint, and the picture frame got turned into a chalkboard with pieces of painted scrap wood left over from our other upcycling projects.  

Perfect for back to school or to liven up your office!

Vintage Crystal Chandelier--SOLD on craigslist

This stunning crystal chandelier is our latest vintage find.  The aged brass arms are encased in glass and there are crystals hanging from all of the cut glass bobeches as well as from  the center supports.   Strings of crystals loop from each arm on both tiers.  Small decorative crystal flowers decorate all points of attachment.  As you can see from the last picture, the chandelier is in good working order. 

This chandelier will add a bit of feminine sparkle to any area of your home.  In addition to the dining room, we can see it a bedroom, kitchen, entry, or even a bathroom.

Measures: Total height is 31" from ceiling plate to bottom of crystal loops
20" across in any direction; 16" tall arms
Sconces are 3.5" tall; bobeches are 4" diameter
