First Friday in March

Just a little reminder that March's First Friday in Temescal is this week!  Where does the time go?

This month, we'll be showing the work of artist Sheila Metcalf Tobin.  She'll be there, so come and say hello.

And Ren of Renby's Sugar Shoppe is providing us with some of her delicious gluten-free cookies and cupcakes.  We'll be serving them milk.

Come and see some of the new items we've just made and put into the shop too!

For those of you who have never been to First Friday, be prepared for a treat.  The Alley is lined with yummy food carts and there is usually wine and cheese to be found in the businesses.  Makes for a fun Friday evening.

Pillows from Custom Fabric and Linen -- Set of 2

This lumbar pillow was created from a custom fabric designed by an Oakland fabric designer.  The bird in the pattern is an African bird called a sankofa.   The fabric has been sewn to a gray linen, which covers the back of the pillow.  Covers are removable and washable (on delicate).

Measure: 20" x 14" (each pillow)

You can purchase this set in our shop or on etsy for $40 plus S&H:

Rustic Blue-Gray Folding Cafe Chairs -- Set of 2 -- SOLD

We have a set of two of these gorgeous, rustic looking cafe chairs.  Made of painted wood the blue-gray paint has a weathered quality.  Each chair seat lifts up so that the entire chair folds flat.  Would be perfect to take into the garden on a sunny day.  Or keep them indoors to add a bit of character to your breakfast table.

Come to our shop to purchase or buy them on etsy for $120 (set) plus S&H:

Reclaimed Wood Bud Vase Holder

We create these bud vase holders from reclaimed wood and tiny vintage glass bottles.  No two are alike, but they are a beautiful way to display a small, fresh blossom, or in this case a stem of dried Billy Buttons.

Available for purchase in our shop or on etsy for $14 plus S&H:

Framed Photo Display -- SOLD

Our framed photo display was handmade of reclaimed painted wood.  We added wire from which to easily display photos, invitations, tickets, or other memorabilia.

This photo display has sold, but if you are interested, we have more unique pieces like this coming soon or can make one to order for our stock of frames.

Pantry/Storage Shelves -- SOLD

This set of four labeled shelves is a great storage piece for food, dishes, linens, or any kind of small item that requires organizing.  Put it on a counter, table, or simply sit it on the floor.  Includes six chalkboard labels which slide out of their metal holders.  There is even a skirt on the lowest shelf to hide things that might not be pretty sitting in the open.

We white-washed the piece in a bright white so that a little of the wood grain shows through.  The skirt and backboard of the shelf is covered in burlap from recycled coffee bags. The storage shelves have an old or rustic feel.

Come and purchase it in our shop or buy it on etsy for $150 plus S&H:

We're smiling from ear-to-ear!
